Aguilera y Mení

Aguilera y Mení: Misión Impro-sible

Aguilera y Mení are Javi Aguilera and Carlos Mení, two comedians from Cádiz who have made their name in comedy with their talent for improvisation and their social media videos, with millions of views. Their shows are performed in Spanish.

• Javi Aguilera started out as a comedian and scriptwriter on Canal Sur TV, on the programme Las Tardes María. Since then he has worked as a comic actor, carnival performer and scriptwriter for television, film and theatre.
• Carlos Mení became known as one of the best-known performers of the Cádiz Carnival, then moved on to television on Canal Sur and to theatres all over Spain as a comic actor.

Misión Impro-sible

Their show tells the story of two twins from Cádiz «with different fathers», out of work, who want to join an organisation to steal a jewel and escape poverty, passing the tests set by a mysterious voice. With that as an excuse they mix stand-up, parody and, above all, improvisation with the audience, so every show is different.
