Cookies are any type of data storage and retrieval device used on a user's equipment for the purpose of storing information and subsequently retrieving the stored information.

Cookies can be classified according to different criteria. For example, according to their purposes, some serve to make the Website function correctly, and others to remember certain user preferences, such as language, or to help the Controller of the website understand how users browse it.

Other distinctions can also be made, such as by their duration or by their origin.

According to their duration, Cookies can be:

  • Third-party: They are not managed by the publisher, but by a third party, which is the one that manages the data obtained through the Cookies.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies for several reasons, which are detailed below. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Website and for providing the services you request are used without the need for consent. This category includes the security and fraud prevention cookies of our payment provider (Stripe), which identify the device being used to browse in order to detect fraudulent use of means of payment. As they are essential to protect both buyers and sellers against card fraud, they are installed on all pages of the Website and do not depend on your acceptance. All other cookies (analytics, personalisation and advertising cookies) are only installed if you accept them.

How can you manage or reject cookies?

The first time you access the Website, a notice is displayed from which you can accept or reject non-necessary cookies. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them and does not prevent the use of the essential functionalities of the Website. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by deleting the consent cookie or clearing your browser's browsing data. In addition, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies (see your browser's Help). Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect some functions of the Website.

First-party cookies

In addition to the above, the Website uses the following first-party cookies, which are necessary for its operation or to remember information related to your activity:

NamePurposeOriginExpiry
currentUserKeeping you logged in after you sign in, so that you do not have to authenticate on each page. Necessary technical cookie.First-party50 days
cookieConsentRemembering your choice (accept or reject) regarding the use of non-necessary cookies. Necessary technical cookie.First-party1 year
conv_infoRemembering the campaign or link through which you arrived at the Website (ad identifiers and UTM parameters) in order to measure the effectiveness of our marketing actions. Advertising/measurement cookie.First-party30 days
rt_attrKeeping on our server the same attribution information as conv_info (ad click identifiers, UTM parameters, landing page and time of the first visit), so that a purchase can be attributed to the campaign that originated it even if it occurs days later. It is not accessible from the browser and is only created if you accept non-necessary cookies. Advertising/measurement cookie.First-party90 days
ph_*_posthogMeasuring how the Website is used (page views, interactions and purchase journey) in order to improve it. It stores a visitor identifier and a session identifier. Provider: PostHog, hosted in the European Union. Analytics cookie; it is also stored in the browser's local storage.First-party (PostHog)1 year
__ph_opt_in_out_*Remembering that you accepted analytics cookies, so as not to ask you again. It is stored in the browser's local storage and is only created if you accept them.First-party (PostHog)Persistent (until you clear your browser data)

Analytics and advertising cookies are not installed until you accept them in the cookie notice; until then they remain disabled. Only strictly necessary cookies and the cookie that remembers your choice regarding cookies are always used, as they are essential for the operation of the Website.

Anonymous measurement when you reject cookies

If you reject cookies, or for as long as you have not responded to the notice, we do not store or access absolutely anything on your device: no cookies, no local storage and no session storage. Nor is your browsing recorded.

In that case, we continue to measure the use of the Website anonymously and in aggregate form, in order to know how many people visit us and which pages they view. To do so, our analytics provider (PostHog) generates a temporary identifier from the browser type, the IP address and the domain, combined with a random value that changes every day and is then destroyed. The result is not reversible: it does not make it possible to recover your identity, to recognise you the following day or to link your activity across different devices. Your IP address is not retained together with the measurement.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest in knowing the performance of the Website, as it involves data that do not allow you to be identified. You may object to it by writing to us at info@rebeltickets.es.

International transfers

Some of the cookie providers listed (for example, Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok or Hotjar) are located, or may process data, in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, such transfers are carried out under the safeguard mechanisms provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR (for example, adequacy decisions such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses).

  • Account-related cookies
If you create an account with us, we will use cookies for the management of the registration process and general administration. Generally, these cookies are deleted when you log out, although in some cases they may remain afterwards to remember your site preferences when you log out.
  • Login-related cookies
We use cookies when you log in to remember this fact. This prevents you from having to log in every time you visit a new page. These cookies are usually removed or cleared when you log out to ensure that you can only access restricted features and areas when you are logged in.
  • Purchase processing-related cookies
This site offers e-commerce or payment facilities (such as Stripe or Revolut) and some cookies are essential to ensure that your order is remembered between pages so that we can process it properly.
  • Form cookies
When you submit data through a form, cookies may be installed to remember your user details for future correspondence.
  • Site preferences cookies
In order to provide you with a great experience on this site, we provide the functionality to set your preferences for how this site works when you use it. In order to remember your preferences, we need to set cookies so that this information can be called whenever you interact with a page that is affected by your preferences.

Local storage (localStorage)

In addition to cookies, we use the browser's local storage (localStorage) for exclusively functional purposes. It is first-party storage (not third-party), it remains only on your device and it is not used for advertising purposes or for cross-site tracking. You can delete it by logging out (where applicable) or by clearing your browser's browsing data.

Third-party cookies

In some special cases we also use cookies provided by trusted third parties. The following section details which third-party cookies you may encounter through this site.

  • This site uses Google Analytics, one of the most widespread and trusted analytics solutions on the web, to help us understand how you use the site and how we can improve your experience. These cookies may track data such as the time you spend on the site and the pages you visit so that we can continue to produce engaging content.
For more information on Google Analytics cookies, see the official Google Analytics page.
  • From time to time we test new features and make subtle changes to the way the site works. When we are still testing new features, these cookies may be used to ensure that you receive a consistent experience while on the site, while ensuring that we understand which optimisations our users appreciate the most.
  • As we sell products, it is important for us to know statistics on how many of the visitors to our site actually make a purchase and, as such, this is the type of data that these cookies will track. This is important to you as it means that we can make accurate business forecasts that allow us to control our advertising and product costs to ensure the best possible price.
  • The Google AdSense service we use to serve advertising uses a DoubleClick cookie to serve more relevant ads across the web and to limit the number of times that a given ad is shown to you.
For more information on Google AdSense, see the official Google AdSense privacy FAQ.
  • Several partners advertise on our behalf, and affiliate tracking cookies simply allow us to see whether our customers have come to the site through one of our partner sites so that we can credit them appropriately and, where applicable, allow our affiliate partners to provide any bonus that they may offer you for making a purchase.
  • We also use social media buttons and/or plugins on this site that allow you to connect with your social network in various ways. For these to work, the following social media sites, including Instagram, Facebook (Meta), TikTok, Twitter/X Corp., will install cookies through our site, which may be used to enhance your profile on their site or to contribute to the data they hold for various purposes described in their respective privacy policies.
