The concert

Duo Jatekok is a French piano duo formed in 2007 by Adélaïde Panaget and Naïri Badal. Their best-known project is Duo Jatekok plays Rammstein, with arrangements of the German band’s songs that came about after opening Rammstein’s European concerts in 2019. Rammstein on the Beach, whose title winks at Philip Glass’s minimalist opera Einstein on the Beach, adapts that repertoire to a classical, minimalist language.

It is worth making clear: this is not a Rammstein concert, but a performance by two pianists reinterpreting their songs. If you are drawn to the contrast between the force of industrial metal and the delicacy of the piano, this is the plan for you.

How to get to La Riviera

La Riviera is on the banks of the Manzanares, next to Madrid Río and close to the Puente de Segovia. The nearest Metro stop is Puerta del Ángel (line 6), a few minutes’ walk away. You can also get off at Príncipe Pío (Metro lines 6, 10 and Ramal, plus Cercanías), about ten minutes on foot. Several EMT bus lines pass through the area around Paseo de la Virgen del Puerto and the Puente de Segovia.

Parking in the surrounding area is limited, so we recommend travelling by public transport. It is worth arriving early, because queues form before the doors open.
