La Castanyada del Cabró Rock 2026 in Montmeló

La Castanyada del Cabró Rock returns to Montmeló on Saturday 31 October 2026, at the Espai Can Guitet, the open-air site next to the Circuit de Catalunya. It is the autumn edition of Cabró Rock, the festival that turns the Castanyada (the Catalan All Saints celebration) into a big party of Catalan music and culture.

What is La Castanyada del Cabró Rock

Cabró Rock began as a celebration of music in Catalan and, with La Castanyada, brings that idea to the autumn. The first edition at Can Guitet drew around 30,000 people, and in 2026 the festival returns with 17 hours of music and the atmosphere of a great diada (Catalan festive day): besides the concerts, the organisers announce castells (human towers), sardanes, ball de gitanes and a fira (fair) with Catalan-themed attractions.

How to get to Can Guitet

Can Guitet is in Montmeló, next to the Circuit de Catalunya and about 20 kilometres from Barcelona.

• Public transport: the organisers recommend travelling by public transport. Montmeló has a Rodalies station; check the return times, because the festival finishes in the early hours.
• Car: if you go by car, check beforehand the parking instructions that the festival publishes for attendees.

Arrive early: at a festival of this size, queues form at the entrances.

Entry rules

• Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult with a ticket and carry a signed authorisation.
• Children under 2 enter free, but also need a ticket.
